Ice fishing clinics: take advantage of free training!
Get into the ice fishing spirit! Here is your chance to learn everything you have to know to truly enjoy your next ice fishing experience. You will be introduced to the necessary equipment such as the tip-up and the jig stick.
During those clinics, seasoned anglers share their tips and tricks for each of the most wanted fish species. They also reveal the best lures and baits to catch walleye, pike or perch while ice fishing.
And these tricks are not merely fishing stories! They are facts based on a research project led by biologists of the Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs and real ice fishing enthusiasts in 2018.
See for yourself the smiles of proud anglers showing off their catch or releasing it back. This wholesome activity for all ages will warm you up inside in spite of the freezing weather outside!

Alec Delage (see dates for clinics open to the public, in French only)
Passionate angler specialized in teaching fishing techniques to youth, Alec Delage is the general manager of the Académie de pêche du Lac-Saint-Pierre, a summer camp for children and teens aged 9 to 15.

Daniel Robitaille and Luc Couture are both professional anglers and respectively host and commentator on the TV show Leurre Juste on V Télé and Télémag. They both strive to help anglers reach success in ice fishing, catch more fish and have lots of fun.
