How to recognize it
- Average length: 20 to 30 cm.
- The male’s abdomen is bright orange.
- Its body is dark with lighter spots
- Its back is olive green to almost black with a marbled pattern.
- Its flanks have little red spots surrounded by a blue halo.
- Its fins have black and white edges.
